In this tutorial i m going to show you how to build a door lock that uses a fingerprint sensor and an arduino uno. In this post we will interface a fingerprint sensor module with arduino and will build a fingerprint based biometric security system with door locking. Therefore i installed an optical fingerprint sensor on the outside of the door that can also toggle the locked versus unlocked position of the servo. For implementing this project we will be using the atmel atmega328p a fingerprint sensor gsm module.

Because it offers the flexibility to add more features to the system. It uses a keypad and fingerprint scanner to grant a user access by controlling an electric door s. To enhance the system i ve also installed a small oled display on the outside of the door to show the system s status i e.
